I certainly think what your saying makes sense and that questions are worthwhile. I also agree with you (and the philosophers) in that coming to your own conclusions is much more solid than being given conclusions.
Like the example you gave with walking, I know that swimming helps my back and puts me in a more relaxed playful state — I don’t need any scientific studies to confirm that, my body tells me!
Emotions are your subconscious mind telling you something. Very often, it knows what it's talking about. Sometimes, converting emotions into writing helps build a logical framework, so your conscious mind can catch up.
You are writing what we all should be thinking. Nothing lost there! Do it because you can. You will always be able to do it better. Do it anyway.
“Ignorance is Bliss” is a quote for a reason. Some only translate it one way. Yet it goes both. To not be told, but learn firsthand, is blissful. To not be informed the asteroid will hit the earth, no matter when that it will, is so much less time worrying about it. Entire cultures operate like this.
The internet was a conundrum. Providing a keyhole through which to access ANY information we want, as people, was dangerous. The informed public? Asks questions. Judges. Responds. Something HAD to be done.
Make it entertaining! Make it distracting! Make it confusing so no one thinks they really understand it.
It’s actually not that hard. And with machine intelligence to comb through trillions of indexes in the time we make a meal? We are now brilliant if we choose to use it so.
Very threatening. Very interesting. Everything is possible. But first, we must take care of ourselves, our family, our love, our home and stability. A new kind of Maslow Pyramid needs be built, yet not too different.
And writing should be included in Socialization now instead of Self Actualization. Because sharing our thoughts IS our SUPERPOWER. And They can’t stop us.
